  1. My son purchased 3 five gallons buckets of paint, he had chosen a gray color giving the associate the swab for the color he had chosen. When he got home and began to paint the color was blue instead of being gray. I called the store where it was purchased and was told that the paint was non returnable. He carried the paint back to let see that the paint was not the color of the swab and needed to purchase more paint. The manager told him he couldn’t bring the paint back but she would give him 30 percent off of the paint he wanted to purchase. I know it may be Loews policy that mixed paint cannot be returned but it is also Loews policy that when paint is purchased there should be a marking on top to show the color according to your manager. The marking was not on top of the bucket so we didn’t know that the paint was blue, I know that this was an error that your associate made and my son should not loose over 300 dollars because of your associate error. I expect this matter to be handled in the manner that it is supposed to be handled because I don’t think that any customer should have to loose money when making purchases at your store.

  2. We bought a new Maytag washer and dryer in December 1973. Within 2 month the washer had problems and would not drain the water. I
    had to try to wring the water out by hand. Then I put them in the dryer and it would take 3-4 times longer to get them dry. Lowes is charging me for someone to checkout the washer on the following Monday. I do not think they should charge me and maybe replace the washer.

    I recently purchased a custom vanity and quartz counter tops from Lowes. Toronto Construction who did the measurements made an error with the measurements. I have informed the managers of the store I purched the vanity from and all they did was apologize. I now have a partially installed expensive custom vanity that is too narrow for the space, and the sinks are way too small. We worked so hard to be able to purchase this only for it to be wrong. I hope someone will call me or email me with a solution. Thank you so kindly for your time.

  4. Can’t get a service technician out to my home to look at a washer that paid for and the extended warranty is still in effect. Every number I call refer me to another number. I think the tactic they are using is for me to pay to get the washer fixed and only contact Lowe’s when I want to make a purchase. I need a contact I can call to set up the repair.

  5. I purchased a dishwasher, washer, and dryer for my daughter who was flooded in hurricane Idalia from Lowe’s in Spring Hill Florida. The products were delivered. My daughter was devastated and we all aided in trying to get her house cleaned out. My husband and I went to Lowe’s to purchase some of the things she needed. While there we talked extensively to the professional helping us about the dilemma everyone including my daughter were facing. He was very kind and helpful but never once mentioned that the product had to be hooked up and running within 48 hours to be able to be returned if Lowe’s sold us faulty products. As for returning it in the box it was delivered in not destroyed, when the delivery team brought the product in it was running water from the bottom of the box. My daughter took pictures and mentioned it to the deliverers who just set the soggy box down and left. I am very disappointed in that this is the kind of service you get from a major corporation that you depend on especially under these circumstances. My husband is a contractor and utilized Lowe’s often. We trusted them with many jobs. Not any more. If this is what happens to people that are devastated by disaster then they are not someone I will ever trust again.

  6. I was accused by an associate and store manager of being a thief.
    I was called and harassed by the manager on Saturday the 30 September.
    I was humiliated in front of customers as well as shopping for mattresses for our new home on speaker phone I was told I left the premises with my to entry way doors and outdoor weather proof screened in doors.
    One thing in life I can not stomach are liars , cheaters & thieves .
    I was accused of being the people I don’t like nor can stomach.
    I brought a cashiers check in to pay for my merchandise that wasn’t ordered yet to be able to get the doors ordered as the cashier said we don’t take those here really confused on why not.
    She kept insisting that I not take the doors with me without paying.
    My Husband and I repeatedly told her we don’t have the doors she couldn’t even comprehend that.
    Frustrated we left the store and the associate proceeded to tell management I stole my doors.
    The Manager called harassing me and was going to call the police on me if I did not return to the store with my 4 Doors.
    My entire Kitchen , Windows , Doors , Fence , Window blinds & interior doors I was purchasing.
    I believe we have a very bad situation transpiring between us.
    You have security footage throughout your stores however no one was smart enough to look at the most truthful way rather then harass , embarrass and humiliate me.
    I’m considering a Lawsuit as I’ve been told to do such by family , friends , salesmen at the mattress warehouse & a customer .
    We have a HUGE PROBLEM
    Your corporate office continues to repeatedly tell me to call between 8 am and 4 pm yet I’ve repeatedly tried during such hours.

  7. I went to SE Lexington SC store to return a power washer that I ordered online because they didn’t have one in stock so they told me to order it. I did and it said it would come in 9-7-23 great! So it came in on the 9th which was 2 days late.
    I was sick and didn’t open it until Wednesday 23th and assembled it and turned it on and it didn’t work like they said (5 minutes ) and I returned it to the store I ordered it from. They wanted me to pay 20% restock fee for something that didn’t work. I told them that I was going to buy a gas powered washer from them and they didn’t care at all. I asked to speak to a store mgr and she told me she was a mgr and wouldn’t take the 20% off. So I told them I would never buy from Lowe’s again to just charge me and I would be done and never be back. After thinking about it a few minutes I told them to stop I was taking it back home and and the way out the door one of them laughed at me. I told them I herd them and they told me to have a good day so I saw the girl who said she was the mgr outside and told her and she said have a good day and didn’t do anything.
    I’m handicapped and just spent money with Lowe’s remodeling my house. So if this is the way you treat your customers I don’t need to buy from Lowe’s

  8. I have a serious problem that I need to get resolved. I need someone to call asp.This is over a bill that we didn’t know that we owe.I have tried several times to call the store in Cookeville to get this resolved,I am not getting anywhere.We have had our identity stolen this bill has caused us to freeze our credit.That is why I have filed a complaint with better business bureau.Again I have tried several times to get this resolved.I don’t want any more calls about this bill until we get this resolved.

  9. Today I went to visit Lowe’s in Salinas California. I have two comments the first comment I will say it was good. The employees and staff were very professional and did everything they can to assist me. The second item is I am a disabled American veteran. I went there and bought some items and I was under the impression that I just had to show my ID card and I would get a military discount later. Did I find out that not all the items in the store that are discounted to Veterans and matter fact everything I bought in that store today. I got no military discount, I’m just hard it and I don’t believe what they say being military
    Friendly this will be my very last time in shopping with Lowe’s

  10. The Lowes in Murray KY is the worst store I have ever worked with! We have bought many things there and always have many problems. We are just trying to get a microwave and it has turned into a fiasco! I was told everything was ready and I could come out and pay for it( we had already been there and now was told 5 minutes to come in and pay, as they were unable to take our card over the phone with 2of them working on it!). They have a monopoly here and they don’t care about service or strain on lives due to their ineptitude. A manager there named Jeff said I could leave and not get the microwave or I could leave and he would call me after he worked it out. I had already spent time with 2 employees on the phone who told me all was ready, I would be in and out. I have a husband with stage 4 cancer that can’t be left long at all. They were very unvarying about my situation. I will never buy from them again. I also have a big family who will not. Now we have to wait to see if the manager Jeff even calls back, if he does I doubt he will be able to complete our purchase.

    Met with Lowes Rep 27Jun2022 at our house for consultation
    Placed order for double entry doors 14Jul2022
    Installed through Lowes sub-contractor Rock Solid on 14Oct2022
    Immediately found glass pain with blind not working on 1, chip in 2nd door and poor quality installation overall. Sub-contractor came back same day to verify
    25Oct2022 called Lowes Installation who confirmed 2 new doors were on order
    Over the last 10 months I have gotten the run around having to contact Lowes Installation number, rock solid which is Lowes sub-contractor, as well as Woodgrain who is the manufacturer. All pointing fingers all while waiting for call backs for my doors to be replaced. I have every name, and every date I spoke to and per Lowes Installation these calls are recorded. I was told on 2 different occasions doors were on order (25Oct2022 and 13Mar2023). Rock Solid came back 3 different times to take pictures for Lowes Installation all while showing the chip was getting bigger but Lowes said they would send a touch up kit. I am not sure who would order a brand new something for over $5K to have a touch up kit sent which obviously the chip is getting bigger the touch up kit would be pointless in years to come. I even sat up at Lowes Porters Neck for close to 3 hours with Lee waiting on a manager, Jennifer who was supposedly in a meeting and never came out. Dec 2022 my door stopped locking due to the install of the doors being incorrect. During install sub-contractor cut my hardwoods and failed to place a piece of trim between and still visible. Finally May 2023 the manufacturer sent their own company to do a complete review of the door. I received the 8 page document which really shows the install is wrong along with defective doors. I finally received confirmation new doors would be installed by Rock Solid on 10Aug2023. The doors that arrived were wood vs. fiberglass and black not graphite. Complete opposite doors which are cheaper than the originals. Along with chips in paint. Doors were rejected obviously and I have now begun a small claim in court as well as with the BBB.

  13. Millsboro Delaware – we were supposed to have measurements for carpet done today. I have two confirmation emails. The company Lowes had coming to measure never showed. I spent two hours and thirty minutes trying to reach someone. I spoke with someone in carpeting who told me if you have a confirmation email someone will be there. Still no show called carpeting back several times just rings finally got through they gave me the number to the place who was supposed to measure and they told me Lowes cancelled the measurement and gave me the date they cancelled. Called Lowe’s back SEVERAL times because nobody answered finally got customer service who transferred me to the manager who said I’m transferring you to carpeting who knows more about that. tHIS WAS THE WORST PART. She is supposed to be the manager. And when she transferred me it just rang forever. I tried to reach someone for about another half hour finally got carpeting and he told me he would have to have the sales associate call me back. So to recap: I had to take a day off work wait four hours for nobody to show then spend 2and 1/2 hours trying to reach someone when the manager should have helped and I still don’t have an answer as to why the appointment was cancelled.

  16. The Lowe’s store in Greenville MS has terrible customer service. It’s strange whenever you’re in the store you can’t get help most of the time. Whenever you call someone may answer the phone or may not. If someone answers you still don’t get to speak to anyone because when you’re put on hold you stay in hold. I been trying to find out for 3 days has the refrigerator I ordered come in yet. I don’t want to make the drive to the store and it may not be there. It takes me an hour to get there. That whole store needs classes in treating customers with respect. If the store is boycotted they will realize people are tired of the treatment they are getting. Plus the fact everything in the store is to high.

  17. I bought a refrigerator from you. The first person was sent to deliver alone without any assistance and no tools toget the door off for entry. The second one came by himself after I told them to send a two man crew. He was too tired when he got here as I was the tenth one one the list and he was by himself. The third man came by himself again but he was finally able to get it in with our assistance , Your delivery system is horrible. They still did not hook my ice maker up. Horrible.

  18. I bought a dishwasher from Lowe’s in Parkersburg WV. Paid for delivery, install and removal of old one. When install contractor arrives he tells me there is an up charge of $100. Nothing was mentioned about this when purchased. A $489 dishwasher is almost $1,000 will all the charges they hit you with. I would not pay that and told them to return it to Lowe’s. I can’t wait to go in and get my refund. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks and should be ashamed of themselves.

  19. I bought a dishwasher from Lowe’s in Tyler Texas. Was supposed to be delivered and installed on Friday July7, 2023. Did not call or show up. I called and was told when the installers went to the store No one could find the dishwasher even though it was staged for pickup by an associate named Jasmine. I tried to call the store, rang for 15 minutes and no one answered. Called back got customer service asked for a manager, they sent me to flooring. The associate in flooring put me on hold for 20 minutes, no one came to the phone. I called back and this time no one ever answered the phone. I finally went to the store and ended up getting a refund so I could get a dishwasher somewhere else. I explained to the girl that I could not get anyone to help me and she never apologized or tried to help.

  21. The Lowes delivery phone number is a scam and a joke. I call the number to resolve the issue that my generator delivered today got a forklift ran through the box and damaged the unit. My local store told me to call the “lowes delivery” number, and no matter which option you choose, IT HANGS UP!!! Total BS. I’ve spent a thousand+ dollars for a damaged unit and everyone keeps passing the buck down a rabbit hole with a dead end. I’m switching to a Home Depot. Lowes is garbage.

  23. I have a complaint about the assistant store manager, Luther, from the Silverthorne Colorado branch. It’s 2:30 in the afternoon and I was asked to leave the store after Luther escalated a benign question into an altercation. Now I am unable to complete the job I’m currently working on and thats $50 an hour, that’s gonna add up fast. I need somebody to call me back immediately at 970-409-xxxx. The way I was just treated is unbelievable. I will be holding lowes accountable for every dollar I am missing out on because of this

  24. I have a picture proving that a gas grill was $154 when I seen the associate from the store, I was made fun of laugh that and also belittled and showing that it wasn’t 154 it was 1549. Then I spoke to a manager named Jennifer, which never called you back she had sent associate assistant manager a bill out and he also belittled and humiliated me more or less and said you will never get that grill for $154. I have pictures proving and showing that it’s accurate. I don’t understand why this can’t be done. I had also show the associate on the day that I was there and he went to another guy and both of those guys in your Lowes store at Brooklyn had said you’re never gonna get it for that never so keep wishing so what can be done.   25. I was at Lowe’s in the BOCA, Florida store on Rte 441 my dad is 95 years old he used the motor car and left his cane in the cart. I had shortly called the store and spoke to a girl at the customer service center she said she had the cane and I told her I would be back in the afternoon to get it and I called at 1:15 and I returned back to the store at about 3:50 where the girl at customer service said she threw it out. I am totally annoyed and this is not a way to treat a loyal customer. The cane was worth close to $40 but it was something my dad needed and they threw it out.   26. As I was walking up to the register to purchase my plants, there was a lady being rung up in front of me. There was no one but me and her. After the sales associate gave her her receipt, the male employee said to me “We are closing the register”. There’s no sign to alert me. It’s just me and her in line. This would have been better received if I wasn’t the only one left in line waiting. You have to see how this action appeared to me. As I went inside to pay for my purchase, both he and the female associate who let the lady out the gate who was in line in front of me …both seen me standing inside waiting. Now the male associate said, “I’m headed out” as he was walking up the aisle. They both asked me if they could help me and I told them both I was waiting on Jackie the manager. Well the male employee who was “heading out” never left. He came from the back and then He stayed at the service desk.
    Here’s the thing. Get a standing sign that lets customers know that after said person, any other purchases have to be made inside. Don’t wait until the lady in front of me is finishing getting rung up, I’m the only one left in line, and then you decide “we are closing the register now”. As much money as my family has spent buying our appliances from here… this was very very distasteful and horrible customer service.

Every time I have Called and asked to speak to a manager I get some young kid who could give a shit about my issue. Fuck Loews I’ll never return and they lost out on 2k which I know it’s nothing to them.

  28. I have purchased $10,000 in cabinets, $$5,000 in appliances and $5,000 for countertops. I have had the cabinets and appliances installed BUT CANNOT EVEN GET A PHONE CALL FROM THE RAPID CITY STORE on an install date on countertops!!!!!!! I am SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I paid for the countertops in March! I was told they would be installed in May….today is May 31! PLEASE HELP ! Please call meat 720-891-5505!!

  30. The Lowe’s store in Kingwood Texas must be the worst run store I’ve ever been in today. I went there to buy fence pickets and look for a cart. There was no carts available. I finally found one out in the parking lot brought it back in. I went up and down every aisle in the wood department and there were no pickets so I asked somebody they told me they were outside on either side of the front door. I went out there in every rack. A pickets had a pallet of CMU block on it, every picket for the first I don’t know 1 foot layer was warped and are damaged. Needless to say I left the cart there left the pickets there and will go to Home Depot to buy what I need. This is not the first run in at the store, about three toilets, spent 80o plus got them home had somebody installing them one of them had a cracked lid. I brought it back to the same register that I purchased it from. I had a hard time getting it out of the truck, putting it on a dolly and it was a very heavy product, trying to push it up to the register. When I got there this gentleman told me he would help me. There was a lady standing next to him that said no he will not help you. You have to take that to Returns at the other end I couldn’t hardly push the thing to go down there and then I had to wait till somebody come up to help me load it on the card a new one and then loaded in the back of my truck I find this very disturbing that where I checked out they can’t take my return regardless, the people are rude and disrespectful.

I’m a veteran Ret USAF, you have been using many changes for using military discount..now not only show your veterans, but I showed official USAF Ret ID card.not show that which also considered as Real ID for regular Travel, I showed it and now they also want to see driver license and scan the back if it .. This is Bull ????!!! Showing my military ID should be all I need….I called for manager….she processed it…it’s not the little money discount, the principle that my Military ID not worthy…..she said that corporate requires to verify you…how much more verification do you need with a Federal. ID card..This sucks..what I don’t have a license ??? Home Depot you have a App on phone they scan the little black code and fast…if this keeps up, I’ll pass this on to my veteran friends we can go to state college pa at Home Depot and be better represented…….ps, I have 40 years of Management….and Commin Sence.   33. I have tried to get a flooring quote for days. No one answers the phone, the associates do not listen to the issue. And just transfers me.

  34. We have been dealing with a kitchen remodel since July 2022 and are still waiting on cabinets, granite, and back splash. We have had incorrect cabinets ordered and installed, flooring issues, and can not seem to get answers. We have been promised discounts/refunds by our local store but haven’t seen anything. We are now going on 10 months with no finished kitchen!! Very isappojnted and want answers!!

  35. We ordered a utility trailer online to be picked up at the Kerrville, Texas store. The customer service people were very under educated in this process. I called the store to tell them we would pick up the trailer on a Saturday. The employee did not tell me we needed to pick up the trailer on a weekday so we could get it registered at the DMV during their office hours so we wasted gas and 2 hours of our life making the trip to the store. After waiting at the store for quite a while the 2 employees told us we couldn’t get it Saturday. Now I’ve been sitting here at the store (this is Monday, waiting for over an hour for several employees in the customer service center to get the paper work figured out, I guess. Lowes needs to train/educate customer service employees in Kerrville, Texas. This is rediculous. Last thing we’ll be getting here.

  36. Managers at Lowe’s Iwilei, Honolulu are the most in-dependable management team I had to deal with concerning my issue order for a 30” stove. We placed an order on Jan 30, 2023. A stove was delivered to our home on Mar 4 but the wrong stove was delivered. A manager setup another delivery. And no one called to inform us that there was no stove to deliver. So on Mar 11, I spoke to another manager who checked the store inventory that showed 4 stoves available. A physical check on the storage areas were accomplished that confirmed zero balance. On Mar 12, another manager supposedly placed an order for the stove. I have been following up with a total of 6 managers. Only one manager took the time to call us and provided updates. I am extremely disappointed with the service we received on this matter. A replacement stove was re-ordered on Mar 12 and we did not get an answer that the stove was no longer available for order until Mar 30.

    Lowes lost a sale from us for this reason because we decided to ordered the stove elsewhere.

  37. Purchased washer and dryer from Madisonville KY Lowe’s in February 25, 2023. Was told the next delivery date for my area in Clay KY was March 26, 2023. At 3:37pm I called Lowe’s to see about when the delivery people would be there and I was told that they did not deliver on Sundays. Lowe’s scheduled for them to be delivered on March 30, 2023 without calling me to see if that date would be ok. It WOULD NOT HAVE. I work away from home Monday through Friday and no one is home. I explained that to the guy that helped me. I could only have them delivered either on a Saturday or Sunday. But no one ever called me!! I gave away my old washer and dryer to someone that needed them and we had to turn the water off to the house because the valve is stuck and will turn. So no water and no washer and dryer!! And then have kids as assistant managers that want don’t care as long as they get the sales!! That it is MY FAULT that I had to turn my water off because LOWES said they would be there March 26, 2023 between 8am and 4pm. Lowe’s need to reimburse me 50% for being lied to!! If not all the amount!!

  38. Very very hurt and disappointed by treatment of my delivery today. Purchased a gas range and over the counter microwave. Delivered today and left on carport because delivery guys said they could not get in the house. (Not TRUE). Made several phone calls to our Pooler Store from where it was delivered and it was stated we did not want them in the house. ????????‍♀️Why would we say that it we wanted it delivered. Anyways spoke to delivery manager Ben at around 10 or 11 am. and he said I’ll see what I can do. It is now 4:30 pm and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I was originally told to just leave it outside overnight. My husband and I are both elderly (85 and 70 years old). How are we to move this by ourselves. No help no response. I used to love Lowes not anymore. I at least expected an attempt to rectify the situation.

  39. I purchased FR Dishwasher on 2/09/2023 along with a installation and removal of our old dishwasher and also a 5 yr protection plan. We were told the day of the purchase (2/09/2023) that the selected dishwasher was in stock on site. The sales person Micheal Gordon told us that the dishwasher would be installed and delivered on the same day. We received a call informing me that the dishwasher would be coming from one Lowe’s warehouse. I’ve called and talked to two different sales associate in appliances to find out why the dishwasher was dropped off and who was going to install it. The contract states the the job would be completed on 2/19/2023. The appliance associates each told me that they would find out what was going on I have not received a return phone call from anyone and I keep calling the store #1097 to find out why the dishwasher is still in the box at my home and no contact from anyone at lowe’s no one is answering the phone why is that by the way.   40. Ordered riding mower with bagger, understanding we could get both. Sales person persuaded us to use Lowes credit card. Paid off credit card then found out bagger was on back order. Not knowing when it would come we cancelled our order. We didn’t get a mower and now they have our money. Says it will take 15 days to get out money back when it only took 10 minutes for them to get our money.
    No more shopping at Lowe’s for us!

  41. Starkville, Mississippi Walmart on Wednesday, 3/1/2023 around 6pm. Employee by the name of Cassie was incredibly rude to a customer standing at the self checkout behind me. She was sitting in a chair playing on her phone when a customer had an issue with the self checkout and she huffed and cussed and got up and told him if he wanted to use cash to use the ones that say cash. He apologized to her and she scanned her badge or whatever to clear other the sale and slammed the hand scanner back into the holder never acknowledging the customer’s apology (not that he owed her one, but he was trying to be kind and respectful even though she was being completely rude). She kept mumbling, cussing and huffing at the customer. He moved over to a different register that accepted cash.
    This is unacceptable. I called store in my way home and was on hold for 8 minutes. Finally hung up and just decided to put my complaint here. I hope I never See this girl at the Lowe’s in Starkville again. She should be let go. She treated this customer with such disrespect.

  44. The Redding store closed the garden shop @4:00pm while I was loading cart with heavy bags of top soil,,this day. Called the manager, she was not much help. Said she didn’t know why the shop was closed. The shop people would not help get my purchase to the check out at the other end of the store. I have been a customer from day one when this store opened. The manager didn’t even give me her name. But was told by her to come back and ask for her. At this time, it was extremely busy with no cashiers, only self check out.   53. My husband and I are both military veterans and have been using Lowes for over 30 years. We’ve been avid DIYers and have always found Lowes employees knowledgeable and helpful…until now. I’m trying to do a kitchen renovation project that includes cabinets, flooring, countertops, and backsplash. I began the project in April with a virtual consultation. The designer was great, everything went well, and we paid for the project in cash at our local Lowes in June. That’s when the bottom fell out. I was given a name of a coordinator whom I was told would be coordinating all deliveries. I was given an estimated delivery date of 10/11 for my cabinets and assured that I would have a “working kitchen” by Thanksgiving and an estimated completion date of 11/30. Within 30 days, I began receiving phone calls from individual companies trying to confirm deliveries for flooring and countertops. I couldn’t accept any deliveries because my cabinets weren’t installed yet. I’ve now received 6 calls at different time for my flooring delivery alone. No one is coordinating anything. At this time, 12/9, I’ve had my cabinets in my living room and dining room for a month and no estimated installation date. The installation department tells me everything is in place and they will “accelerate the process and get the managers involved.” Lowes corporate HQ tells me all they can do is transfer me to installation and my local store, who was happy to take my payment in June, tells me the problem is in the virtual side. I have other home improvement projects that need to be done but they will NOT be done by Lowes and I will take all my other business somewhere else.

  54. Spent $800 on a washing machine to be delivered. Forget about the supposedly “courtesy call” prior to arriving … and forget about then being very late to deliver. But how could you send installers that don’t speak English? They bust my connector, leave the washer in my garage with a scratch and dent on it and leave. It cost me $250.00 for a plumber to fix their damage. I saw online where my signature was forged claiming a delivery was made. Unreal!! That was a week ago, Lowes keeps blowing me off. I still don’t have access to my washing machine and NO HELP from Lowes. I am looking into legal action now!

  55. I went to the store to get some Rustoleum black paint. They didn’t have it so they offered to mix some for me. I specifically requested black paint. When I was ready to use it it was a different color. Took it back to the store to get the right one. After almost an hour of waiting they did nothing to help me. The manager was called but never showed up. The guy at the paint department told me he could not replace it because it was a special order.
    But they gave me the wrong color of paint. I paid for black paint which I didn’t get. I am a regular Lowes customer and I am very disappointed with the way as was treated.

I was told that was not possible, I thought the salesman misunderstood that I wanted to pay for this service, so I called the appliance department at the Hamburg Lowes the next day. I was told there are two options haul away to the truck or keep – no room to room option. They have to go through the garage anyway- right past the spot I informed the saleman. He was quite annoyed with me. I am not ok with the disrespect from the salesman and the subsequent call with 4 phone transfers with 15 rings (I counted) for each transfer to the final hang up. The lack of support and customer service I received from the Hamburg store was so BAD that I cancelled my order to purchase a refrigerator. Then a man had the nerve to call me that night and say Jen was in a big meeting with corporate and that’s why she didn’t answer her page. My question is if this meeting was so important/big how come no one else in the store knew about it. Shouldn’t customer service at the very least know not to transfer when she’s in a big meeting? He also had the nerve to say he hopes to see me in the store soon! Why would I?

  59. My name is Miriam. I purchase a Frigidaire 3 months ago. It was not be able to repair the damage so it is supposed to be replace. I have a schedule for it on Dec 2/22. Today my husband and I have being calling the store (Harbison, Columbia, SC) and nobody was able to give information about the time and nobody gave any information. I have been waiting for more than 30 minutes for an associate to answer the phone. NO ANSWER AT ALL!!!! REALLY!!!! a big company like LOWES , doesn’t have employees that can do a simple job like give such information. I’m still here waiting for somebody to answer the phone. This is my third time that I’m hook on the phone and NO ANSWER. I have to schedule my job for tomorrow and with this inconvenience that your employees are doing I don’t know if MY FRIDGE is coming or not. One more thing, when I ask for the manager, any manager, I was told that there was NO MANAGER, maybe he is on vacation???? But I know that the store MUST HAVE/BE a MANAGER!!!! Or maybe an assistant manager all the time. That’s why probably the store runs like this. I have a business and I know that somebody must be in charge at all time. I’m very dissatisfied with this store. Probably you don’t care because I’m a small customer but I will tell all my friends about the treatment that I received here.   70. I purchased a frig on Saturday Nov.5, 2022. Delivery date was supposed to be Sunday, Nov.6, 2022. The delivery guy called and said he was 10 minutes away. About 20 minutes later he called to say he had the wrong delivery address. I attempted to give him the correct address and he refused and me to contact the Brenham store for the correct address. I tried calling the store and was unable to get honest support. Now, I am still without a frig with out any real support from Lowes. Lowes made a new delivery order for me on Tuesday. Mind you this is the 2nd day and time I am giving Lowes. On Tuesday I was delivered a broken frig. The driver told us to call the store to set up a replacement frig. I spent all day trying to reach someone of intelligence to no avail. Finally, I talk with someone about a replacement to be delivered on Wednesday. I told her, okay but it would have to be delivered after 2:00 pm. I was told there was no guarantee it would be after 2:00 pm. At this point, I can continue living from my ice chest. LOWES YOUR 3rd party delivery company is a joke. A TWO-YEAR-OLD WOULD HAVE HAD THE SMARTS TO CALL THE STORE FOR THE CORRECT ADDRESS, ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY WERE 10 minutes away from my house. When I tried to get the driver to deliver he said, SPEAK NO ENGLISH and hung up on me. Marvin Ellison, you might want to look at your 3rd party delivery company because they don’t have your customer’s best interest at heart. Marvin Ellison, you may want to hold back on some of those millions in bonus to your employees. The phone rings at this store as though there is no one to answer. And when they do answer they send you to any extension on MARS. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! My available time on Wednesday is after 2:00 pm or cancel my order. Home Depot is across the street.   71. I purchased a Samsung stove with five year warranty (protection plan) After several attempts to get this fixed they are telling me it’s fixed but do not clean. The oven has soot in it and don’t know for how long this has been.
    The individuals they have sent are telling me that the oven should have been converted before it left the store.
    Lowes states that they do not do this and nor do they install. I don’t know why they sell things that they do not install. As a result I had to find a company to install for me.
    I have the five year protection plan on the stove but they are saying it does not cover cleaning. So I guess they are expecting me to clean the soot from my oven. Even though it was nothing that I did wrong.
    Lowes warranty protection plan sent one technician out but could not find the problem. So he put in a new oven door and replaced the fan in the back of the oven. Needless to say it also turned black with soot.
    The second technician said that they were too big so needed smaller ones. The third technician fixed them using what was already there that the prior technician said smaller ones were needed. So they claimed the oven is now fixed and that the soot situation is my problem. Should they not test the oven to see if the cause of the soot isn’t coming out before they claim its fixed.
    I paid for the protection plan and they should be responsible for the soot issue. It was nothing I did and if not professionally cleaned it should be replaced.
    Lowes is saying that they did not install so not their problem.
    I am saying that Lowes should take care of this issue since I have the protection plan. Lowes should not be selling items if they can’t install them. Lesson learned for me. If they cannot install then won’t be buying there.
    This soot issue needs to be handled ASAP. Soot in the oven is a health hazard

  72. I have an online order that was never filled nor refunded. I have called the store numerous times, at least twenty or more. They answer the phone and immediately put me on hold for hours. I live over three hours from the store and cannot go in person. I do not know how to get a refund for this order. It is extremely frustrating. Worst store ever!

  73. We purchased flooring for our flood damaged home. As they loaded it some of the boxes were already damaged. Your loader said to return them. We would not have enough flooring with some boxes damaged. They would not allow us to return it. We had to go unload it at a friends because we don’t have room and your store would not let us store it there till they could do returns. We ordered online flooring from you but will cancel and never shop at Lowes again!!

Me and my daughter went to Lowe’s yesterday we were over near the tile and hardwood floors and it had bright yellow stickers under a few certain boxes well maybe we stood there and talked about it and couldn’t believe what it said I would just saying $.15 that’s what drought our attention so as we stood there and talked about it and looked harder a salesman come over to see what we were talking about I asked him was this price right are you sure he said yes but let me check well he checked and he double checked to make sure when I went up to the restaurant to pay for it they had 16 boxes of One kind four boxes of another kind and three boxes of another kind well we got it to the register and it took about 45 minutes for them to get me checked out I was in a car so I was trying to figure out how I could get it home or they didn’t have any rental trucks I couldn’t find anyone with a truck so they told me I could come back to pick it up I sent someone up there with a truck to get it with my receipt and they wouldn’t let them get it and then I get home later on I’ll check my messages and now they’re saying it was a pricing error to come get my refund and on top of that the guy up there was talking shit about us saying they are but everybody’s always trying to get something free blah blah blah. I don’t think that that was right as false advertisement that’s rudeness and very unfriendly so that’s why I’m complaining today and if I have to I will sue that company the one in Matthews North Carolina but the little guy named Daniel was so very helpful to me and made sure that that was the right price and it was everyone checked it in the system updated and they checked it again and now I can’t get my wood my hardwood floors . So as I’m finishing it I would like to say yes it was a very good deal and yes I thought it was too good to be true but no that’s not right but he assured me it was. One box of hardwood flooring was $60 but yesterday on cell it was $2.49 or $2.69 a box and $.15 per square footage. I’m going up there this morning and somebody better give me my Hardwood flooring.

  75. Lowes installed doors and trim and looks like a first grader did it. Corners don’t match up. Light plates were covered up. Trim doesn’t reach floor. Large staples half way sticking out. No one will stand behind this problem. I requested a refund and no one from Lowes had the fourth to get back to me.   77. I have been working with the Lowes in Madison TN since May 2022 for a shower door. Initial order was cancelled by vendor due to pricing, however per the lowes website and threat to call corporate, Store manager placed the order again 6/29/22 with anticipated delivery date 7/23/22 for store pick up. Since 7/27/22 I have been in contact with the Vendor and obtained tracking number for the carrier and my item is noted as “on hand 7/20/22 at BNA Nashville”. called the Lowes store 8/5/22 and spoke with Jade, she was to call the vendor and get back to me. as of today, 8/9, no associate or manager has called me back. I called vendor who confirmed they spoke with someone and provided the carrier number. I called the store directly 3 times this afternoon to speak with Katie the store manager and twice I was disconnected during what seemed to be a transfer and the 3rd time, no answer. these calls were made between 153p CST and 2:04p CST on 8/9/22. I am now on the phone with Corp Customer Service regarding my order and filing a complaint on the store. I have been dealing with this issue since May and here it is August 9th and no resolution. Nothing but poor customer service with no urgency or follow up. Your corp customer service Agent kept referring me to the store manager, I do not want to speak with the store manager and need someone from corporate to contact me. I have asked for the District or Regional Manager and she referred to the store. This is BS….I ordered a shower door that only Lowes has. I have my inlaws who are now living with us in their mid to upper 80’s who cannot SAFELY use the tub shower. I need my walk in shower for them, but i need the DOOR!

  78. I have a LG refrigerator that I bought from lowes four years ago. I have the five year warrantee. The refrigerator broke twice – had three compressors replaced and it is broken again.
    The repair men that came said it is a Lemon and can not be repaired again! I was told I will get a reimbursement gift card but that never happens! It will be three months without a refrigerator.   79. Bought Cali luxury vinyl plank flooring. It has white pit marks all over it. Got nowhere with Cali. Told us it was part of the design. Lowe’s in Avon, OH received the same response. The rep from Cali blocked me from their email saying they denied the claim–period. No one would even send a rep to look at their defective product. Lowes has since said they will not answer anymore questions or anymore emails and passed the buck as well. How can Lowe’s continue to have a company like Cali sell their product, then no one will back it up. Do not buy anything from Cali or look to Lowe’s to back up their customer.

  80. I purchased a stove fridge and microwave on may 29.
    I got notice saying delivery for Jult 22
    July 21 I get a call saying they do not have a fridge
    A shipment came in but they disappeared!
    After many dead end calls to Lowes in Hadley Mass I finally reached Dave in Appliances and we picked out a different brand . The appliances came on July 22 and fridge would not fit through the entryways and the delivery guys were arguing with each other in Spanish. They tried to take our used stove with them and I had already told them it was to stay here. They had to take the new fridge back to the store. Again after many calls to Lowes I reached Dave in Appliances and told him I would be going to the store that day and meet with him to get a stove that fits
    Dave and I found a fridge but it would not be able to be delivered until July 29th,
    I asked to speak with a manager. To no avail.
    A Supervisor , Chres in Appliances approached us and after some discussion he asked Dave if he was busy on Monday July 25 and that he and Dave would deliver the fridge.
    I agreed but Chres said I had to something for him. And that was to complete a survey giving him and Dave a top review

I have contacted several customer service number, but no one is able to assist with windows that has been installed after 1 year. I looked on the website and there is Double Lifetime Window Protection Plan and the telephone number listed on the document (1-866) 480-2468 keeping hanging up the call. What are the steps for filing a claim for this window protection plan?

  82. I had flooring installed and Keller Interiors did a horrible job. Lots of errors, white glue on pieces that separate rooms. Clear glue on several vinyl plankets Keller could not get off so they had to replace them. There are still spots on the floor I can’t get off. Keller marked up my walls with green that came off flooring boxes can’t get it off. Scratches half way up the wall the paint is off. With all the return trips an installation of 500 square feet took from June 16 to July 21. I hate the flooring and wish I wouldn’t have done it. $4,800. MISTAKE.

Tried getting in touch to tell them we only ordered 1 but no one ever answered. Delivery never came on Sunday and didn’t get a call or anything, so went to Lowe’s at 6:00 on Sunday night they said it was on truck for delivery and would be coming later tonight. Told them at that time we only ordered one! Never come so called store on Monday morning and was told they came to deliver on Sunday at 8:30 that night and we didn’t come to door. We were on our porch until 9:40 that night and they did not come to our house, all lies! Called on Monday and was told they were brought back and would have to be credited back for the extra refrigerator before they could bring 1 out for delivery so now it is suppose to be another day or so did not give a time. This place needs upper management looking into things and half doing their job. All things works according to how the top management is handled!

My husband and I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 05/29/22 and once it was installed on 06/10/22 the installer found out that line going to the ice maker and the water dispenser was not connected properly. He gave me the option of having a service technician come out to service the NEW refrigerator or having the NEW refrigerator replaced. He informed me that we could keep the refrigerator while a new one would be ordered for us and once it would be delivered then the new one would be installed and the one that does not work would be taken away. I informed him that we would like to have a NEW REPLACEMENT refrigerator that has ALL of the components working. He informed us that all we had to do was contact Lowes (and showed us the number on the copy of delivery slip that he was leaving with us) the next day to reiterate what he had informed us to the person on the phone. He also said that he would be turning in the same paperwork to the customer service desk in the store and they would handle everything for us. Needless to say 2 weeks later I am STILL fighting an up hill battle over this and at this point LOWES is trash. My husband and I have always loved Lowes and have not every experienced any problems with this store or their products until now, the customer service suddenly is terrible and as far as having my NEW refrigerator replaced so far it’s still in my kitchen “half” working. I’m beyond disgusted and if and when I get this situation taken care of the likelihood of my family patronizing Lowes in the future is slim to none even if the product is free. Right now I want my NEW Frigidaire Refrigerator replaced as it was stated to me that it would be and I want EVERYTHING that is supposed to work on it to work.

The appliance will go bad, they contract with idiots that can’t fix a burnt out light bulb, then when they determine that the appliance is not fixable they “CLAIM” they will send you a check for what you paid for the appliance not what the warranty paperwork says which is “REPLACE” the appliance. When the reimbursement never arrives, and you call to find out the status, they don’t know what you are talking about!!!!!!!

  105. My husband and I went to the Lowes in Estero, Florida this morning (5-13-2022) to purchase 31 cabinet pulls for new cabinets. The slot where the pulls we wanted was empty. We asked 3 times to have someone to help us in aisle 16. No one ever showed up. After waiting 45 minutes for someone to help me, I found a Lowes employee named Bill who was not busy standing near by and asked for help. He said it was not his department. Then I asked for a manager. Finally got Michelle who checked and said they had 18 packs of the cabinet pulls we needed. She got a ladder and got down the pulls for us. This should never had to reached the manager level. Our order totaled almost $190.00. I feel we should be compensated for our time and poor customer service. Think a 10% credit or gift card would be appreciated.

  106. Lowes is VERY difficult to deal with. They have my money for a kitchen project and are aware of the issues they have caused. Manager, Doug is unresponsive as well as Amy in Customer Service, and Maricia on the Virtual Design Team. The designer ordered the wrong cabinets which I found out as they were being installed. One cabinet that was ordered matched nothing. Seven weeks later after the installers closed the case (which I am not sure how that happened), NOTHING has been done. Doug, Amy and Maricia have all dropped the ball. I only went with Lowe’s because I thought they would make my project easier. I should have went with Home Depot. DO NOT hire Lowe’s. They will get your money and stop responding.

  108. I bought a whirlpool dishwasher. It was installed 2/18/22 I used it three times. Called Lowes Burlington Ohio they told me to call whirlpool after about calling for 3 weeks every day. We talked to someone they sent the service man out. He told my husband it has fuse that half of it was blown. He didn’t have one, he didn’t know when he would. I have talked to Mike Adkins at the store where I bought it. He said he would call and have them to fix it or install a new dishwasher. Now I can’t even get Mike to answer the phone. I want it taken care of.

  109. I and my family (retired Air Force) have been customers of Loew’s for years in Fort Worth but No More! I just tired to get store credit for a locking mailbox; I did not have receipt but the item was in the original box still in original packing. The item is still listed on Lowe’s website, and I was Not asking for cash return, I was asking for a store credit which I would have used today towards a more expensive kitchen faucet. The woman helping me was not helpful and basically told me that was just the way it is, no sorry that I cannot help you.

  110. Third Party Delivery Service is a disaster. I purchased a high end kitchen suite & first fridge ice maker didn’t make ice, & poured water all over the floor. Replacement fridge delivered. Friday. We heard delivery men cursing in our garage, so we knew things weren’t going well. 4 door fridge. 1 door not adjusted. Looks like hinge may be twisted. Cover is missing from hinge @ the bottom of opposite door, & door has 2 small chips. They were scheduled to return Sunday between 8 & 12 to adjust door. Called Sat. night & confirmed. One o’clock Sunday I called & was told they were “en route”. 5PM I called again & learned that they had kept none of their Sunday AM commitments. “Big Dave” was supposed to call me back @ 1PM today with an update. He never called. I called @ 3PM & was told I just missed the person I needed to speak to by 10 minutes. Asked for manager & was told none available. All in a Meeting. Had a meltdown, & finally got “Shelby”, who said she escalated my issue to the delivery company manager & someone would call me back. It is now 7:30 & no call. Hendersonville, NC Lowe’s is the WORST!!

    1. AGREED!! Outsourcing to third parties has completely obliterated accountability and reliability. It doesn’t help that you cannot get anyone with any ability to make change happen call you back. Customer service is at an negative numeric, as is satisfaction!

  112. Purchased a shower door online to be picked up at Lowe’s store 2338 in Western Hills, Cincinnati. Received email 4 days later that our order ready to pick up. Went to store and the item could not be found. Called Alecia next day and she was going to have someone look for it. Never called back. Called next day and was told the door was put in “top Stock” by mistake and it is ready to pick up. Went to pick up on 4/26 and could not pick up due to Hazmat spill in Receiving. Meanwhile I keep getting reminders to pick up my order. Yesterday’s email indicated my order would be cancelled on 4/28 if not picked up. Called store on 4/27, advised Item would be picked up in 30 minutes. Got to store and waited one hour to get item. Complained to Customer Service Rep and got a 10%, and then another 10% ( which is equal to a 19% reduction) not 20%. But, somehow I lost my 5% Lowe’s credit card discount. Called store 4/28 and no one answered.

  116. Window replaced by Lowes. They glued the window screens to the frame and now the screens can’t be removed, also this glued shut the spots for water drainage. Lots of ,mold in windows. These window are by Pella and installed by Lowes. Don’t buy windows from Lowes. They won’t stand behind their installers.

After being promised 3 times a manager would call me, I finally get customer care and they send an email. I get one call back and I missed the call. When I call back to speak to Sue “the manager”, I leave a message, got no answer back. I call again, the person says, “she is standing right beside me but with another customer. I ask if she promise that Sue will call me back? She says, “I can’t promise.” I am still trying to get to someone to help me. It is clear that this rust was on the washer before coming out of the box. Maybe it’s used and was put back in the box, I don’t know, but I bought it from them and they need to replace it. The Lowes of today is not the Lowes I grew up with…

  121. We purchased 8 double hung widows for our home August 28, 2020, which were installed in October 2020. We have been in contact with Lowe,s customer serrvice, several managers come out regarding our complaint, they are out the windows are not sealed which allowes air to come through, the windows slip down when opened which is a safety hazzard. My husband is a disabeled veteran, retired police officer and we are in our 70’s. I feel we are discriminated against because of our age. We are into March and nothing has been resolved. Their solution was they would put a nail in the windows so they don’t slip.

Your stores are not equip to handle calls, because they not have enough employees to work for them and answer phones. Long story short, Sandra, took all my information at Corporate, said the manager of the London, KY store would call me, he sure did, and later much later that night. He did not have all the information in front of him, he was just to call me. Boy what kind of ship are you people running when you can not even give your the proper information. BOY, you people are some kind of work. Very first encounter was with IVAN, who once he found out I was alone, told me forget about my security system ADT, and go to Wal Mart and a gun to protect myself against drug people, who tells someone from a store to do that. this guy should lose this job, plain and simple. and I do not say that lightly.

In the past, I had to return the same item twice because it was damage which really caused a problem and extra cost because I had to hire a truck each time to transfer. But I am absolutely certain about the outstanding service from Raymond at the pick up desk. He was so cooperative throughout the sale especially when I asked him to hold the item for a long amount of time until I was available to pick upHe should definitely be rewarded and recognized for his outstanding service. I was also very impressed with Jashon,who Was attentive .professional,and cooperative. I hope they are both recognized for the pride and their hard work for the Lowes team. To me, Customer service is everything and they have gone beyond to provide this to me. Bravo!?????

  129. In August of 2020, I placed an order and paid in full for a new front door from Lowe’s located on Lowe’s Lane in Amarillo, TX. It is now 2022 and I am STILL waiting to have the door I paid for installed correctly. I have called in at least 4 separate work orders over the last year and a half in order to have it corrected and nothing has been done. Each time I call the response is always “I’ll call the installation company and call you back,” and I NEVER receive a call. Throughout this entire process not once have I received any actual customer service and I have not received a single apology for the nightmare that this entire process has been. I paid $2000 outright for this front door and I have had nothing but one problem after another since the order was placed. I can’t seem to find anyone to contact about getting this corrected so hopefully this message reaches someone. This is the worst customer service I have ever received from a large name company and any time someone says they are looking for any home improvement, I recommend they go anywhere but Lowe’s. It’s going on 2 years that I’ve been trying to have a single door replaced with no apologies, no money back, and I am so tired of trying to work with Lowe’s.

  130. So I bought the 5 year extended warranty with my refrigerator. The refrigerator goes out and I’m still waiting for the warranty company to pay me. My family have been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks now. Every time I call back someone gives me a different answer and says someone will contact you in the next day. No one has ever called me. The process was only to take 7-10 days lol. And the part of the warranty company that reviews the issue can’t be contacted by anyone. Wow. And you cant contact corporate the number you get is customer care and they send to the manager of warranty department and they can’t do anything or even contact the department needed.

I believe I had complained about Lowes in Waynesville, NC in and around 2018 about lack of customer service and employees walking away, especially when they knew a customer was going to ask for assistance. I just want to praise Lowes for taking matters seriously, because now the culture at this Lowes has immensely changed for the better. Employees greet people when they come into your business. Always approaching customers to offer their assistance even if you are male or female.
    There is one employee I want to recognize at the Waynesville, NC store is Bradley, he bends over backwoods to assist you, he is very people friendly and knowledgeable. Bradley will make sure to answer all your questions and if he doesn’t know the answer, he will find someone that knows the answer. I am impressed with all the positive changes!

  132. I would like to complain about a refund I tried to get. I had bought my husband a generator for his birthday which is Feb 17th. I ended up giving it to him a few days ago and after a few days he decided it was to big . So today I tried to take it back and they would not refund my 2000.00 dollars. It’s brand new,never been started and had never had gas put in it but we had thrown away the box. First I was told it was bc it wasn’t in the box,then it was bc I didn’t take it back in the 30 day time frame which it’s 38 days as I explained to the associate when I bought it on the 3rd of Jan. I then asked if they could put it on a gift card and I would just purchase something else, again I was told no. So I called customer care only to be told basically tough luck. I’ve been a loyal customer of lowes over 25 years and I’ve seen many things come back for refunds or gift cards with no receipts that was garbage. I even have my receipt. I paid cash and am 66 years old and can’t believe with all I’ve seen the customer is wrong. Had a receipt, brand new,never used n I get nothing.   134. My roofing contractor ordered and paid for $9000.00 worth of shingles to install my new roof from Lowes in Cartersville GA on Tuesday 2/8/22. The shingles were to be delivered to my home the next day 2/9/22. When the shingles had not arrived that afternoon he called to check on the delivery and was told the truck had a flat tire. He went to Lowes in Cartersville the next morning 2/10/22 to pick up the shingles himself and was told that they had sold my shingles to another roofer. Lowes did nothing to try and correct their error until my contractor went to the store to pick up the shingles that were supposed to have been delivered the day before. At 8:15 am on 2/10/22 they then said they would have the shingles brought to the Cartersville store from another location and then delivered to my house. It is now 1:30pm on 2/10/22 and the shingles have not been delivered. My contractor cannot start my job until they are delivered. This is an emergency situation. My roof was blown off in a storm, the emergency tarp was ripped in another storm and there are more storms forecasted for next week. Due to this delay my contractor will not be able to complete my roof before the next round of storms.

  137. I went in store to the Bolingbrook Lowes and ordered a washer and dryer on 1/30 with delivery of the washer 1/31 and 3/4 for the dryer. I took off work to be available for the delivery and when delivered, the hoses and connections were missing. I drove up to the store to complain and was given a $162.75 credit adjustment for the inconvenience. Rescheduled installation of the washer was 2/1. I paid for haul away of the old washer, but the guy stated the policy was to haul my washer and pedestal. I did not want to give my pedestal, but was told policy is not to install my new washer on the old pedestal, that I needed to purchase a new one from Lowes and that the washer could not be hauled away without taking the pedestal with it. I have back problems and limited income and could not afford to purchase a new pedestal. I am requesting the return of my old pedestal to be able to use my new washer without causing injury to my back.

  139. I had a Lowes contractor install a quartz vanity top last week. He installed the backsplash upside down and ran a line of gray solvent around the perimeter of the white stone top, permanently blemishing the color and finish of the vanity surface. He lost his cool during the install and threatened my safety three times and slammed my front door. He tried to overcharge me for the install. Lowes removed the excessive charges. He complained thru out the install about things in the contract that he had to do but did not want to do (his job). Now I have to wait for Lowes to replace the $1300 vanity top. What a mess! Lowes hires incompetent, impulsive and angry contractors. Lowes sends them to women’s houses and puts their personal safety at risk. Lowes hires men who arguably sabotage product and labor to retaliate for petty grievances.

    I purchased a riding lawn mower for my Husband for xmas. The order stated I would receive it on 12/24/21. The next email I received stated it would arrive 12/31.
    I called the StoneMountain store after the phone rang for a long time. When I finally spoke to the 3rd person in thhe store delivery department, I was advised to go to my local store Conyers Ga.
    The Horror began. Upon arrival to the store, I spoke to the customer service rep, who sent me to the seasonal dept after 45 mins. The lady returned and informed, that the only mower they had in the store was sold. She couldn’t tell me if it was me it was sold to. She then went off to find a manager. 1 Hr later it was not my name on the sale receipt.
    1 1/2 later finally Niccki ( Head Cashier) started to help me by calling surrounding stores, to check for availability.
    She wasn’t able to reach anyone in customer service. She had to resort to her personal phone numbers, finally reached Keith and was told that they would deliver the lawn mower and it would be tagged, with my name and order number. This was after 2 1/2 hours in your Conyers Ga store
    Just when I thought everything , was going well. I received a email. Stating” My order was ready to be picked up. Called the store again after 45mins, got someone on the phone stated my Mower would be delivered 12/26/22.
    The story doesn’t end there. 12/26/21 I didn’t hear fro m anyone, called the store again( I got Keith was familiar with the order. Stated ” you shouldn’t have been told we deliver on Sunday 12/26/21 , you will need a flatbed for your mower. Keith then scheduled the delivery of the mower for 12/27/21 between 8am-12pm.
    12/27/21 11:30am after not hearing from the driver, I called the store and the person in customer service wasn’t able to update me on the status of my delivery. 2pm After finally reaching someone on the 1800 number, I was advised to go into the store Panola rd GA.
    I sent my Husband to the store and he was then told ” The truck broke down”
    This has been a nightmare, I would have cancelled my order and ordered from another store, if I hadn’t received assurance from so many of your associates that the matter was taking care of.

  145. I purchased a washer, pedestal washer and dryer and paid thousands of dollars for Lowes horrible service.

    Delivery company rang my door bell, left my heavy merchandise outside/left, damaged my property (washing machine values) when they installed my washer. I sent emails and called corporate several times. I have escalated to store manager, but no response. Lowes has toggled me back and forth from Lowes Orange Park to Spirit delivery company. Lowes has the worse service and still has not reimbursed me for the repairs or installed my pedestal washer.

    Lowes Orange Park store has horrible customer service.

    I will be seeking legal action.

  146. Shame on the sales staff at Lowe’s . I purchased a gas stove in July and due to Covid I was finally able to get it out of the box and installed by Piedmont Gas. I was so excited to finally get my new stove. The main question I asked the sales girl was “Does it have a self cleaning oven” “Absolutely ” she replies, it’s right here on the dial. Now after waiting all these months I find the stove has a 10 minute clean that I have to pour water into my stove and it will run for 10 minutes. I have always shopped Lowe’s and even have the credit card, which I will now close. I thought the staff was trained on the products in the store, well I’ve learned an expensive lesson. Home Depot is just a few miles from the Lowe’s store therefore I will be giving them my business going forward. Shame on Lowe’s for not training their staff properly.

  149. This was 2 years ago and Bill Ryan may not be at this store any more as he was a “traveling manager”. He was our
    ”traveling Angel” that day. Just wanted to give a shout out to corporate for this fine young man who represented Lowe’s in an outstanding manner.

    Well we got to Kerrville Tx on Wed., left the rv Park yesterday and stopped at Lowe’s to rig something up to get car on trailer. We got there about 11:30 and spent over an hour in Lowe’s trying to come up with solution. Bought two 14 ft boards to replace really bad ones on trailer. Then took a break and drove around a bit and had a late lunch. About 5, a gentleman came over and asked if we needed help. He was a transitioning store manager, doing nothing but moving wherever he was needed to revamp a store. Well, this man said he wanted to help us. He called an auto parts store to see if they had ramps that would accommodate us, said he would go look at them, I told him we could do that and he said no just wait there, he would be right back. He came back WITH the ramps, I asked him how much they were, he said they were free, I knew they weren’t, a price tag of $59 was on them. They were too low for trailer so he called an employee to bring some more boards to build up height for ramps to fit. That guy came out with some 10 x 14, probably 6, and a couple 10 x 8 PRESSURE TREATED boards! They stacked them up and I drove the car up on to the trailer, no problem with his guidance. The car door would not open due to side of trailer, a few inches to high?, so I had to CRAWL out the window, NO, didn’t get a video of that!??? The employee helping suggested it! The manager seemed amazed that I did it!?? Well, long story longer, his name is Bill Ryan, his associate is Dwayne Flores. He GAVE us the lumber and ramps! Said we would be needing a new flooring soon and since it worked to get the car on, he wanted us to keep it, so we could get it off. The 2 pieces we bought earlier was over $30! Of course I tried to object and he said he wanted to help us. I was speechless.

On 8-11-2021 I bought $2,200 worth of Composite wood decking for my deck along with joist tape and the tape was on back order so I went to Home Depot to get the joist tape so I could continue my deck. After everything was done I let Tom at the pro desk know that I just wanted a refund on the 8 rolls of joist tape that came to about $124 dollar return. I was informed that someone had collected a store credit for the tape and as they did not put the credit back on my credit card that I ordered it with. I’ve been to the store 2 times and now they are wanting to get a manager to look at the video as it was not me that got the store credit. It sounds like they have internal fraud going on. Not one person has called to fix this. This is terrible service and makes me not want to shop at Lowes if this is how they treat people who spends thousands of dollars at their store. I will spend my money elsewhere next time. The manager still has not called me to correct this. This is at the Buford Store in GA.

I frequent Lowes often in the Raleigh Durham NC area.I made the mistake of thinking all Lowes Stores operates on the same policy but found this was not true when shopping at the Lowes in Roanoke Rapids NC. The customer service has been horrible since beginning this project in May 2021 and seems to get worse as time pass. The store employees appears poorly trained, hurried and avoiding customers by not making eye contact

    I had a suite of appliances scheduled for delivery. At 8pm the day before the scheduled delivery date, it was changed . We agreed on the following day.
    Upon follow up, your organization actually made the appt for 2 days later. The vanity was returned because it was broken and it’s replacement was broken. They would not accept a return and the list goes on and on.
    More staff, Customer service and product training is NEEDED in the Roanoke Rapids NC store

I have a major complaint about Lowe’s that have received little to no resolution.I purchased flooring on March 22,2021 it took over a month to receive the product and almost another month for installation. On May 19th is when the install began however on May 20th in stead of experienced installers there were 2 minors installing the flooring based on Lowe’s approval. They were asking for the wifi code, sitting on our tables, defecating in our bathroom repeatedly, and wiping their hands on expensive decorative towels.When I asked to cover my things up better they refused. The dust and debris control was horrible because of lack of preparation. I have made several attempts to inform them the flooring was improperly install due to minors. There was material that was to be used based on the manufacture warranty purposes and it was not used. They assured me they would send someone out to correct the botched flooring and when the service appointment date was met they sent out the same installer who botched the work in the very beginning and he said that the material we did not use was not needed. With that being said my frustration and disappointment has lead me to the point of choosing someone else who is skillful, proficient, and qualified to get the job done correctly without the aide of inexperience minors. So I have requested a refund and I’m going to take my hard earned money to a company that truly operates in this function of flooring installation. I have had people telling me they have not gotten back to me because their mother was ill etc. This is to much I’m letting you know I won’t stop until restitution is made

The carpet is DEFECTIVE, many fibers coming up into the vacuum bag even after 6 months. When I checked out at register I was informed that I could not use military discount because items were on sale. So where is the discount is given to honor the military soldiers. He also knock down a cable wire. The power wire, the truck did knock down, thank Goodness because I was standing under it. When I asked who was going to pay to repair the cable, the driver did not say anything but got out of truck and went where the cable was hanging down and cut the wire. I was mad. If I knew any dirty words, I would have said them. The other man with the driver, said their dispatcher was calling on my house phone. She said someone contact me concerning the cable. She ask if I was going to refuse delivery. I told her yes. I was not paying for a damage refrigerator. That was the begging of my dealings. The managers have treated me very badly. One said they had 70 refrigerator in stock in the warehouse and it would take 7 working days to get one to Opelika. I waited 8 days and went back to the store and asked where my refrigerator was. It had not been ordered. I told them to cancel the order I would go to another store to buy one. When the one I ordered from another store was delivered, Lowe’s truck showed up with a refrigerator. I told them to take it back because I had cancel the order. I call customer service in North Carolina was the lady told me she was cancelling the order. I did not sign for the refrigerator. It has appeared on my statement for 2 months. The cable the driver of the first truck cut down is still in my yard. I will never buy anything from Lowe’s again. I have been a customer since 1980 and have spent thousand of dollars on appliances and building materials.

  166. I love Lowe’s. I go to Lowe’s for most of things that I need and I can usually always find what I’m looking for. I have a Lowe’s account and I use it throughout the year and I feel A Lowe’s account is a necessity if you own a home, business, or property. With that being said what is also a necessity is being able to enter the store and move around through the vast isles in the huge store. My husband is disabled and our last four trips to Lowe’s he has had to sit in the car as I go inside to do the shopping via FaceTime with him so he can see what he wants. This is all due to the fact that Lowe’s in Crowley La. does not have adequate scooters for disabled people. You see providing disabled people a way to navigate the store is a NECESSITY. Today when I went to Lowe’s there was a scooter in the parking lot with a dead battery. When I walked inside to see if there was another I was told that was the only scooter they had. Times before there had been at least two scooters available but usually they are broken or not charged.   168. I purchased 2 stoves from store #0553. I received no emailed confirmation stating when they would be delivered. 5/6/21 at 3:10pm I received a call from the delivery drivers that they were on their way. I purchased the haul away service, but they were initially refusing to haul away my old stove. I purchased 2 but only received 1 stove. I contacted store #0553 and spoke to 3 different people before being told that even though I had them as the selected store, that the delivery came from store #0522. Between yesterday and today I have tried to contact someone at store #0522 13 times. No one is answering the phone at the help desk or back at delivery. I tried calling the appliance dept, but no one answered. Plumming and Paint depts put me on hold and then the line got disconnected. I tried calling the corporate number 3 times. Each time the line disconnects. I want to know where my other stove is. If it is not being delivered it needs to be refunded. I understand stores are under staffed due to people not wanting to work, but there has to be a better way to do this. I need someone to contact me about my missing stove. Thank you!

  169. After reading the comments from prior customers, I have realized that my thoughts about Lowes is directly on point. Lowes has lost all confidence from their customers and will eventually pay the price. My story started back in May 2019 when I had Lowes provide me with an estimate to have a chain link fence installed in the rear yard of my new home. The fence is needed to protect my dogs from running out into traffic and to keep them safe from whatever wild animals might be lurking around. I met with the salesman at the Lowes store in Waterloo, NY in June 2019 and signed all the papers necessary to move the project forward. I had explained to the salesman that we were making settlement on our new home at the end of July 2019 and would like the fence to be installed by that date. The salesman explained that the supplies for the project should arrive by July 26, 2019 and I would then receive a date for installing soon after. I waited till August 5, 2019 after never receiving any information from Lowes and finally spoke with a Lori Harris out of Lowes project rep’s office located in the state of Indiana. To end my story, the only work done was having 40 deep holes in my yard and contractor cannot finish my project. Lowes has made a fool out of me and I have to find my own contractor now.. THANKS LOWES FOR NOTHING. Your company should be ashamed of how you treat customers.

  170. May 25, 2019. My wife and I purchased a new kitchen from Lowe’s store 0696 in Melbourne, FL. Three people were involved and need to be recognized. Barbara Caulkett delivered a flawless effort in designing, paying meticulous detail and stellar customer service, meeting with my wife no less than five times, spending hours ensuring the job would be done right. Jennifer Huxley, a head cashier who knew of my project, ensured I was given a 30% discount document for the best price, and Patricia Ritenour, another head cashier used her knowledge and experience to pull the payment options together, taking no less than 30 minutes to get it right. this kind of customer service is a shining beacon that Lowe’s officials at the highest level need to be aware of and ensure proper recognition for such service. Additionally, the store management staff needs to know they have this kind of professional and caring concern for Lowe’s customers. Please take necessary action to ensure recognition is achieved.   171. Worked with a corporate customer service rep this morning attempting to explain my problem. We purchased a $1000 bath vanity from Lowe’s. First problem, under mount sink arrived at store broken. Took numerous visits to store to get someone to pursue getting a replacement sink. Working with managers did not help. I believe that it took two weeks to receive the replacement sink. Next problem, under mount sink was supposed to fasten to top using screws that were epoxied into holes in the vanity top. No holes in top; only brass screw inserts. Obviously could not epoxy a hole that was not there. Lowe’s was of no help with this matter. After working directly with their distributor we found that there was a recent change in the vanity tops, no more holes only brass screw inserts. We also found that two different types of fasteners were sent, one correct one wrong. After finding the second set of fasteners, we found that these would work with the new brass inserts. Absolutely no one at Lowe’s followed through with me on any problem. I spent my time checking with people at the store to no avail. Finally called corporate but not sure what if any good that did; not sure the rep understood what I was trying to explain. Myself and the customer service rep at Atlas resolved the problems that I encountered with this Lowe’s product. I should receive at least a 50% refund for all the time and effort that I put into this. (St Charles, Illinois)

  172. So I had my windows done by LOWES- CHESTER. I requested a copy of my Purchase Order, since I had misplaced the original.
    First I send several texts to the salesperson in Lowe’s with NO RESPONSE. I decided the best bet is to see the Store Manager and told him my situation but also with NO RESPONSE. Therefore, I called a week later and spoke to another Store Manager at Lowe’s and again with NO RESPONSE. They sure know how to make a sell but there is noone to help me. I give this store a Zero for communication and I won’t be shopping at LOWES-CHESTER. So I suggest if you need any supplies or any home improvements go to HOME DEPOT. I hope that I get a response because I only asked for something that would have taken less then 5 minutes. Thank you!

  173. I actually went to the store on my lunch trying to find some wood boards which I would need cut for something for my home. I walked around and could not find the size I needed and also some were up high I couldnt even see the measurements. After wasting the majority of my lunch looking for what I needed passing multiple employees who never offered any help. I ask one guy if I could ask him a question and he never stopped walking to hear what had to say and said it’s not normally his section so he cant answer any questions. Nor did he ask anyone else for me he left. Then I noticed him flowing me through the store up and down each aisle. I told him you told me you said you cant help me so I dont know why all a sudden your following me
    I just left since I was so annoyed. Guess u need to be a man to get help here. Thanks. I wont shop here again.

The disability department service they keep me jumping through hoops to go back to work after surgery and been cleared by a doctor to go back to work and want the dates of my leave and told them the dates from September 26 to January 04 2019 i have been released by the doctor to go back to work i want to go back work this coming Fri at Lowe’s 0569 in Leesburg fl after 10 and a half years.

  175. Has Lowes ever consider re-purposing their retired and disabled employees as door greeters and personal shoppers. My husband had 15 years with the store when he was diagnosed with COPD 4 and had to take disability. He loved his job and knew the complete store. If Lowes were to restore these types of past employees on a part time bases it would benefit the store and the person and most important the customer. My husband has had several calls from customers asking when he was coming back and if he knew where to find something or how to fix something.   176. I purchased 4 appliances at Lowe’s—which should qualify me for a $250 rebate. However, they had to put two of the appliances on a separate invoice for installation purposes. Now I only qualify for a $75 rebate?! Seriously. I have already tried working with the local store. They cannot fix it. YOU set it up this way regarding installation. I should not be penalized for this. I expect this to be resolved soon as I’ve been dealing with this for over a week.

  177. Lowe’s vero beach 9:30ish – after being on hold with unanswered ringing nasty male who said he just arrived answered. I inquired if there were any 50c poinsettias left and he says “I have no idea I just walked in” and hung up. I called back as he had not answered my question. Rudely informed they were gone half after opening. My thoughts are the store had a very limited amount of the plants. I am not surprised Lowe’s are closing stores when the person in customer service is so rude. Comments from management please.

  178. Wow, what an experience! Let’s play a game, guess how long it took for Lowe’s to install a 210 ft. brown fence at my house, go ahead guess! If you guessed almost five months and it was still never finished, then you win the prize! There is really no prize, just the information on how incompetent Lowe’s really is! It was a total horror story with lies upon lies,upon lies,over,and over again, not by just one person but every person I spoke with. I was given their word, promised over and over that they were coming out,but never called or came! Wait, I guess I have to contradict myself a little, in the almost 5 months they did come out about four times, each time with the pieces missing that was supposed to finish the fence! I ended up with a very large dead area of grass, black pieces of fencing to finish it instead of the brown rust on the fence, scratches and dent all over the fence and peeling color on the gates! They never came out to finish it but after 5 months of waiting we received a compensation and told to finish it ourselves! They have yet to come and pick up the remaining parts that was not used. I will never, let me repeat, never purchase anything large from this company again! We should have hired someone else to do it!

  179. i ordered Choice Decking material and was told it would be two to three weeks, well it turned out to be over a month and all i got was a run around. then a said it was still at the company who makes it and they were waiting for Lowes to pick it up and Lowes was waitintg for them to deliver, they delivered and i paid for delivery and they sent twenty one boxes of ballisters and we only need two,so i had to send nineteen back. then part of my order was not even ordered so i had to reorder. i got the same runaround as before, supposed to be delivered in two weeks got it a month later. that is not good relations. I lost my first man who was going to install because of all the delays. so i got another man and he charged me to pick up material, he waited an hour and they couln’t find it, so that cost me more for his time and gas and he is charging me more to install the deck.i should be reinburst for the time and extra cost. i’ very dissapointed in the management of this lowes store and the runaround i got. i’m 86 years old and on a fixed income and it’s hard living on social sec. Shame on your company.

  180. I ordered a bathroom makeover December 2017.I paid $20,000.00. As of date nothing has been done. I called LOwe*s corporate office and spoke to Kim Anderson and explained my problem to her and also told her that the mgr of the store in Boynton beach florida yelled at me when I asked him when they were going to do my bathroom, after she said, She would call the store. She called me back and said it was the fault of Florida. Florida was holding up permits. It does not take forever to get permits, They did not send the application to the county. I am a old women . I hope I live to see the bathroom being done. I will be 81 years in Sept. Taking advantage of an old person.

    1. I am canceling my order of $2000 dollars in appliances. I ordered online. Delivery company continuously misled me on time delivered. Checked on delivery with Lowe’s no one at Lowe’s could give me a an answer. My order was lost and mysteriously appliances were back at plainville, ct store. They want to reschedule delivery, how do I ask my son once again to stay home from workwhen I don’t trust Lowe’s to deliver.   181. On April 9, 2018 I was shopping in one of Lowe’s store for landscape light fixtures. I had notice this particular type about a month ago. Today in your store, the price listed on the tag describing that fixture said one thing but to the contrary it was another. Such as, the listing was for four (4) fixtures in the box for $24.96 (Sku # 3607100633 / Model # 0884499); I asked the store service manager (SSM), Richard about it and he said the listed tag and price was correct. Once I was ready to purchase the fixtures mentioned (4 fixtures in the box for $24.96), the SSM Richard then told me that the listing and the price is a mistake and I can’t get the fixtures for what’s listed. I talked to both the SSM who’s name is Richard and the ASM who’s name is also Richard. After much conversation about this matter, neither the ASM or the SSM would honor the listed price. I was told to contact Lowe’s Corp. Headquarters. I want to know what will be done about this matter of Lowe’s False Advertising. I am a very dissatisfied customer. I want to say I am VERY disappointed and disgusted at your scheduling and policies. I am encouraging him to leave your company that he is dedicated too. I belong to the healthcare field and if our policies and schedules were as bad as yours your loved one would NOT get taken care of they way you think should be expected. You need to treat your employees with ethics and respect. I hardly have any time with him and that is just unacceptable. Your managers change schedules overnight and it is just completely disrespectful and unacceptable. I just talked to a friend of mine who is repairing her house and told her to start going to Home Depot. It would be way easier and most cost effective if you would use regular hours vs hours pulled out of your pocket or whats convienent at the time. My sister does a lot of home improvement and just recently purchased some acreage to build a new house and I will encourage them to use Home Depot from here on out. I have always liked Lowes, but I will not tolerate the way your higher paid management employees are treated. You get to go home at the same day and time to see your loved ones……do the same for your employees.

  183. Never in my life have I ever been so disgusted with a purchase/experience. My experience with your service is why we need to support more Mom and Pop stores and not the “big man” because you just DON’T CARE anymore.

    I made an online purchase (Order No.: 346437454) to be delivered to your Mt. Olive, NJ store on March 4, 2018 with a pick-up date of March 11, 2018, well in advance of my March 20, 2018 deadline for a bathroom repair on March 21, 2018 (Oh I have major water leak if you care).

    On March 9, 2018 I called to confirm the status of my order because online said it was still processing and I was interested as to what that meant. A cheery and very nice customer service rep tracked and advised my ordered was delivered and I should get the call any day now for pick-up.

    March 13 rolls and around and no call so I decide to follow-up as I found it odd to have not yet received a call. I called customer service AGAIN and she as well could not understand why I hadn’t been notified. Upon her investigation I was advised the order was signed for by “Joe” and on the on the dock. The rep followed up with my pickup store and everywhere was searched high and low and no package….and the kicker is the vendor was closed and no one could help find out which dock. Oh and I sat on the line for 45 minutes.

    Now past frustrated and remember I need the tiles for Wednesday, March 21, 2018 I call again for the vendor to be contacted. Another customer service rep looked into the situation and after an hour I was told my order was not processed and no one knows why and there is no paper trail. JUST WOW…So at the end of this fiasco I will not have my tiles until the day of the job and I’m not even confident in that. No expediting no courtesy no nothing!

    I will NEVER purchase from your company again. I may be one person complaining to you but multiply that by the others that just throw their hands up. I am just so taken aback by the lack of courtesy and care for your customers.

    My husband and I special ordered a gas stove and hood on February 2, 2018 at a Lowes in Alexandria, LA. Paid for both of them. Was told they were on back order but would be in on March 3, 2018. I just happened to call a few weeks later on a Friday to see if my stove and hood was there. To my surprise it had came in on February 13. I asked the guys about the hood and he told me that it wasn’t in but he was waiting for the hood to come in to deliver them both on March 3. I told him that we could come get the stove and he told me no that they would deliver it on the following Saturday. I asked him if he was sure because I didn’t want my stove to be sold out from under me. He assured me that “Maam, I can’t sell your stove because you paid for it. It will be safe here.” Called a week later to see if the hood had come in. Guess what? They sold it!!!! I was livid!!!My husband and I both went to the store. We spoke to the manager. He let us go to the back to pick out another stove. It cost more and he ate the difference. He told us he’d deliver it the following Friday. So that was yesterday. They call me yesterday morning and tell me they cant deliver it because one of their drivers is out. I was more upset that I asked to speak to the manager. He tells me he doesn’t think he’s in and hangs up. I call back and speak to customer service. Guess what? he is there and I tell him what’s going on. He tells them to bring me my stove that morning first delivery. Which I’m very greatful for. I forgot about the hood so I call back in which I’m told by their customer service department that both “MY” stove and hood came in on February 13, and they sold them both. I asked to speak to the manager again at that time. I was told they were at lunch but would call me back. Never got the call. Now, they had been telling me that it hadn’t come in all this time. So not only did they lie to me about selling my stove but they lied about the hood as well. How can you sell something that’s not yours? I paid for both of those items. Don’t you think they should have marked them SOLD or put them in a place where SOLD merchandise should be held? Never got a phone call that they were in. I made all the calls to find out they sold my merchandise. After I found out they sold my hood as well. My husband and I both went back to the store for the second time and got my money back. Best part is, guess who shows up at my house this morning? LOWES, with the original stove I had ordered. LOL Told him to leave it on the truck. I already had one. Told him the story and he just shook his head. So what does that tell me? I will never buy anything from LOWES again. I am remodeling my house and I was looking to get other appliances there. But not anymore. I found out later from my mom that they did the same thing to her. She bought a dish washer from them special ordered. They lost it at first. They had sent it to a store in Mississippi. When it finally came to the store and they called my mom. My dad found out he had cancer and had to go in the hospital for two weeks. Mom had called them and told them to please hold on to it for her. Now she’s 76 yrs old and can’t move a dish washer by herself. So they told her okay. My mom went home from the hospital to take a shower and there sat the dish washer in front of her door. She was furious. She couldn’t get in her house. Thank God her neighbor was there to move it. She called them and someone told her that she told them to deliver it. Why would she do that? She couldn’t move it or install it. They also are done with LOWES. After this experience with them they have lost my business. If you cant get it together why would I want to buy from you?

    1. If you bought the extended service wait till you have to call for service. Its Sears service center. They have the worst service ever. that’s why I refused to buy from Sears.

  185. November 2016 at Lowes in Hot Springs, Arkansas, I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery for my daughter and family. It was on clearance and I was assured that it had been returned for a faulty ice filter that had been replaced and was under full warranty for one year from the purchase date. From the beginning, the ice maker did not work properly. It backs up and then spews ice all over the kitchen floor. This problem has been ongoing and happened twice yesterday with cubes and then crushed ice. After numerous phone calls and no help, I wrote a letter to CEO Niblock for help. I finally received a phone call from “Brenda” in Executive Customer Service.” For ONE YEAR, we have had two repairmen, per Brendas instructions about what must be done, from different places look at this frig. The ice maker has been replaced as has the filter, and it still malfunctions. This frig is faulty. The ice cubes it makes are too large for the hole that they must travel through. The years warranty is almost up and I will be traveling 4 hours to my daughters next Monday, November 20th. I have written a second letter to Chairman Niblock and after repeated calls from “Brenda” …. who says she will return all call within 24 hours… she called me back today, November 17th. My first call to her was on October 25th….. I have now been told that she needs the name of the repairman so she can report to, I guess, the manufacturer. My daughter and I have gone above and beyond to try and settle this matter, get the price of this poorly engineered refrigerator refunded to my charge card and be allowed to shop for a new frig while I am in Hot Springs the week of November 20th for another refrigerator….not manufactured by Frigidaire. I will continue to ask for help until we get this resolved. However, in this ongoing nightmare with Lowes, whose executives seem unable and unwilling to refund the price of this appliance so we can return it and go shopping for another refrigerator with them, I have heard story after story of other customers problems with Lowes and faulty appliances.

  186. My situation is with Lowe’s in Vegas. Terrible code of conduct with the employee’s not being trained to handle the public . Instead of them being thankful for your business. They act like they are doing you favors! I went to order supplies for my kitchen. I was not helped by one associate nor asked. I then put a toilet seat on the self as I went to the line to pay for my 300 dollars worth of kitchen items. Right then one of their associates says really loud. Miss you don’t want that toilet seat!!!! In a really nasty attitude. I said no I changed my mind. Then she goes in a frenzy with her attitude more and says well it doesn’t go there. And I was pissed at her behavior and told her right away well put it back. Thats your job! With my sore neck and back being in your store having to find each item myself maybe I don’t feel like walking it all the way back to the back of your store! She then gets the item to put it back. Mumbling the whole time. Then we take the garbage disposal and try and get that working. It’s missing a ring that holds it into place. Lovely just lovely. So we take it back and instead of swiping a new box they do a return. The hard way of course. Anything to make it drama. I wanted the six month no interest to pay back so I told the customer service to make sure that happens. I then go back to the section to get another garbage disposal. The idiot working that day at his desk ignoring me and I go up to his desk as he is doing paper work and ask if he could help me with the garbage disposal and explained to him that we had one that was missing the ring. I didn’t have a box cutter on me and knew he would so he is still doing the paper work and I am waiting on him instead of him waiting on me. I stand there and he finishes his paper work before even helping me and we go to where the garbage disposals are. He then grips I’m not opening all those boxes! My reply to him was I didn’t ask you to pen all the boxes just one to see if all the parts are there. Then he does and he looks annoyed. Oh well. You can tell they love customers at this point. Get over it! I then after seeing all the parts are in the box tell him the okay I will take it. Instead of him walking it for me to the customer service he goes back to his desk with it and sets it there for me to pick up from his desk. No help to walk ti to the front for me nor a cart. I thought this was rude and I took it with my back back to the customer service to make my purchase. Then I remembered I needed the connectors. So one nice lady working at the customer service elected to go back for me to get them. She brings a whole package up with a cord too and I told her I didn’t need the cord only the connectors. The man back there didn’t help her at all get them nor offer. So the manager at this time comes up and says for ten more dollars I should buy the better one and he will throw in the package for free. DEAL> Then I saw they had tile. Porcelain tile on sale for 60 cents a sq ft. I told the tile guy I will take it. He then says store is out and checks other stores for me. He gave me the number to the charleston location. I called and got a snotty girl on the phone and she acted like she didn’t wish to even place the order nor look for it. I then explained to her the guy at the store said she had 15 boxes and what it was called but she harassed me for not having the number of it which the man didn’t give to me. I only had the name of it. I then told her the name and told her she should find it because it was the only tile that was for 60 cents a sq ft. She then puts me on hold for up to three times every time I asked for her name. If I didn’t want the tile as bad as I did I swear with that attitude I would of definitely changed my mind. She then places my order after I repeatedly insisted she do it and then I told her I wanted it added on with the six month no interest plan since I earlier bought 300 of kitchen supplies. Being the lazy person she was. She said they can do it when I pick it up the following day. So the following day I go to pick up the tiles. No receipt when I asked them for one. Which I found odd. No RECEIPT that I paid with a love’s card over the phone the following night? Really so the guys that loaded my jeep offered me theirs with all he information on it and said I don’t need this one. Well I took that. Then they loaded my jeep and loaded it all wrong. I came home to find my jeep middle part over the tire sunk in and damaged. One extra box they sold me over the 15 all broken every piece and them three more. I called the following day to show the manager there the tiles to get a credit and also before I forget they asked me for my receipt from the other store to add to the six month no interest which I didn’t have on me and no one told me to bring that in to them. They made a call to the other love’s that didn’t have the tile and the girl there told them she went back three days and didn’t find that I ordered 300 of supplies which really upset me.
    What. I was just there last night. The girl that made the call then gives me the phone number like you handle this. I made a call and the girl was like you need to speak to a manager. I then spoke to the manager and he said bring your receipt from that store to ours and we will handle it. They should be able to but if they don’t wish to. Bring it here and I will handle it. I felt why should I go out of my way to the other store. It’s a waste of gas and time! Why can’t it just be done. WTH! I felt if anyone can make it difficult why is this store making it so difficult for the clients to place orders and follow thru without all this drama added on to it. So I then the following day after speaking with Michael their manager about the damage to my jeep tell him the whole scenario. He then says he has to retrain the guys and says come in we’ll take care of it. Then he says any manager can help you. I told him I don’t feel like telling this novel to everyone. Just make sure when I come they know who I am. He assures me he will send out a memo to all their managers. I got there that day and of course Michael is not there and the manager on duty that was didn’t know anything. He comes to my jeep looks at the damage. More then I expected they cracked the whole bed of the jeep with the way they loaded all that heavy tile in it. Sunk it in deep. Well he brings another manager with him and he offers me 50 dollars! I said no. It was damage that exceeds that and I only want what is fair. My car in the condition it arrived there in. Before loading the tiles. He then says we don’t know if this was already like that. I told him right away. Don’t go there with me. This is from your guys loading the tile wrong that did this and don’t even say it’s not. So he says give him time and then ask for a few days. A few days gone by no word. I called and got JD a nasty manager that said same thing. We’ll take care of it. But let him handle it. I also while there asked the girl to make sure it was on the six month plan for no interest. She then has the receipt and over charges me for the extra garbage disposal that I returned and never gave me the full credit for the broken tiles. Another drama issue. I then called their corporate office and got the billing and she said we will just do a dispute on the charges and it is going to take 60 days. Don’t go back to that store.   187. I am writing in hopes that someone will be able to help us. We purchased wood floors from Lowe’s (Jackson Rd. Ann Arbor, Michigan store) on June 16th and now, a week into October our floors are only half finished. Our house has piles of wood floor pieces, and boxes of new wood ready to be installed that my family of five has been tripping over and working around for over four months now. We are living in a construction zone and desperate to have this nightmare project finished.

    I think it’s important to note that we are now on our 2nd fixer upper home in our marriage. We spent roughly $40,000 in supplies on home #1 and around $70,000 in supplies for home #2—all purchased from Lowe’s, including our appliances. My husband is a painting contractor and spends thousands of dollars a year on supplies from Lowe’s. We love Lowe’s and have had nothing but positive experiences…until this project.

    We purchased our wood floors in June. Normally, my husband—who is very handy—does the installation, but we had saved enough money to cover the installation and because we have two sets of stairs we decided to have everything professionally installed.

    The first red flag came after the estimate when we were charged for things like excess glue (like a gallon for every two steps), and the removal of shoe moldings (we didn’t have any shoe moldings). My husband went into the store and explained all of this and had the estimate fixed.

    We paid and scheduled the installation. I took our three kids out of town during the installation so we wouldn’t be in the way and because we weren’t going to be able to use our steps for 24 hours, which means no bathrooms. I came home from our 3 days away and the floors were installed, but not the steps. Long story short the installer had no idea how to do steps. He had put the step end pieces on top of the bullnose piece at the end of each step. So each step… #1 looked horrible, the wood pieces not going together as they should and #2 the end of each step curved up like a ski jump because of the way the end pieces were laid atop the raised round end. He should have extended the round wood edging out past the bullnose so that the wood pieces on the floor would lay flat, but he told my husband he wouldn’t do it that way. My husband had him remove it. However, he only removed the end pieces. He left the back piece of flooring nailed to each step, with the protruding padding showing before there was just the original wood. So, each step in our home (for two weeks) had three different levels. My dog, who has bad knees actually fell down the stairs because of it. I tripped on the multi-leveled steps and fell as well. We had to walk up our steps side ways so that we wouldn’t trip. Because of this we couldn’t put back any of our upstairs bedroom furniture since the steps were unsafe to walk on. For two weeks we had to sleep in the dining room and kitchen on our mattresses. Nightmare.

    Finally, after my husband talked to someone at Lowe’s (in person in the store) almost every day for two weeks straight, we got new flooring guys to come out (same company, different installers). The new floor guys told me that they couldn’t believe that our steps were left in that condition. They said it was clear that the guy completing the installation had no idea what he was doing because #1 you don’t nail bamboo, you glue it because it shreds and cracks when you nail it and #2 because you don’t put padding down on steps, you glue them. He said that the way they installed the floors are completely against code. He then told me that that he doubts they knew what they were doing with the rest of the floors and he’s sure we’ll have issues with them at some point. Seriously? This is not what one wants to hear when they just spent $7500 on floors. He couldn’t salvage what was there, so he removed all of the pieces and ordered new. He said they’d be back in a week to install. Clearly, that didn’t happen.

    My husband had to sand and caulk the steps because there were nail and glue remnants. He spent a couple of hours making the steps “safe.” They look horrible, but at least we can walk on them. The entire point of paying someone to do the floor is so that he didn’t have to work on the steps and yet, there he was working on the steps. The 2nd group of installation guys that came removed the pieces of random wood on the steps and left them in piles on the 1st and 2nd levels of our home. We were told to leave them there because they might need a couple pieces when they came to install the steps the next week.

    No one ever called the following week to schedule the installation, so my husband went into the store. My husband has gone into the store every week since then trying to get this resolved. It’s become a part time job. He has taken hours out of his week to drive to Lowe’s and talk to someone about this. It’s completely ridiculous.

    It has been one problem after the next. The incorrect replacement flooring was delivered. We actually got someone else’s order. So, my husband drove the boxes of wood that weren’t ours into the store and turned them in. Ours had to be found. They were located eventually, but now it seems there is a major break in the communication chain. From what we can gather, Lowe’s and the installation crew work for different companies communicate through a computer program that has major bugs. The installation crew marked our job as complete in the computer. So, every week my husband goes into the Lowe’s Ann Arbor store and tells our whole story to an employee, they always have a hard time finding our information, when they do they tell my husband that the job has been completed according to the computer, he shows them pictures, they can’t believe it and seem empathetic towards us and promise they will look into it and get it resolved. YET, IT’S NEVER RESOLVED. I can’t for the life of me figure out why. It’s as if the second my husband walks out of the store, the person he spoke to never follows up with our project.

    Believe it or not, I’m trying to make this relatively short by just highlighting the main points…but, long story short—this project has been a nightmare and we can’t get anyone to follow through with getting the wood flooring on the steps installed. We’ve had to cancel activities at our house because we’re living in a construction zone.

    My husband went into Lowe’s again today and was told again that it would be taken care of next week. I’m so incredibly disappointed in this service. We have names of people we’ve spoken to and pictures of the steps, but really…we just want the service that we paid in full for in June to be completed. I don’t want my husband to have to spend any more of his time telling our ordeal to yet another Lowe’s employee that isn’t going to follow through.

    Please help us get the remainder of our floors installed. Please train the staff at the Ann Arbor Lowe’s to follow through with customers. It might also be a good idea to look into the computer system you’re using because every employee that my husband has spoken to has blamed the computer system. We paid a lot of money for these floors and the reason we go through Lowe’s and not independent contractors is because your work is guaranteed. Well, this time we’ve been extremely let down.

  188. Atta Boy Lowes Orchard Park NY! What do you do when your only toilet won’t flush suddenly? You could call a plumber and throw a $500 at him and he picks your unit out with his own agenda. So, after a befuddling 2 hours
    online, I called Sales associate John Knoll at our Orchard Park Lowes in the plumbing department. I got the inside skinny; bang for buck answer in one minute from John Knoll who knew what I wanted, on sale, in stock, all in one box solution, easy peasy. After pick up and 2 hours later the mission was completed. All these issues have been flushed away ever since talking to John who I think knows every nut, washer, pipe, and seal, sink, toilet, and fixture on every shelf ever sold at Lowes. I think Lowes is my new hero for having a guy like John Knoll on staff ready for answers on a complicated bewildering home improvement subject. Thanks John, and Lowes!

  189. It is a shame a company of Lowe’s size shows such ignorance towards it’s vendors. I’m here at your Cheyenne Wyoming Distribution center dropped loaded trailer yesterday at 3.00 as of Sunday still no empty I’m calling on a Monday morning to see if it’s possible to file a lawsuit to holding our trailer hostage and me losing revenue. I have 2 loads book which I will have to cancel on account of your incompetent actions out of Wyoming center. That said myself I will ask where load going I will refuse any all loads going to a Lowe’s distribution centers. Honestly I wouldn’t care if your company actually goes completely out of BUSINESS all together if this is way you operate.

  190. I purchased 19 kitchen cabinets, and the accompanying finishing products on 5/4/17, making the purchase eligible for the 10% Rewards Visa card for the purchase price. I tried to enter the product/receipt on the online rebate site and couldn’t get through the edits requiring a department number. As it was not present on the receipt, I called the store. They didn’t know of any dept. number and suggested I call the rebate number. I did, but it was closed for the weekend. I called Lowe’s customer service and although the representative was very supportive, neither she nor her supervisor could help me after a length of time. Today I called the rebate number but to my dismay, it is an IVR with information only prompts and does not allow for a live person interaction. I called Corporate but after ringing for 15 minutes, hung up. Each person I talked to regarding this seemingly small problem had no idea of how your rebate program works, other than to fill in the blank.

    Honestly, given I bought a product that THD carries and offers a more attractive deferred billing program, (and some discounts), and the fact I normally do shop at the Orange, this experience will certainly not convince me to change my buying patterns. The only redeeming contact was from my sales representative, Elane Wahler, of the Clinton MD store. You need to give her a raise for even convincing me to buy from Lowes, but it was her expertise and helpfulness with the design that sold the deal. But not these headaches. Why don’t you just make the Dept # optional, or have exception coding for those items like cabinets, which don’t have a dept code? FYI, invoice #84400 for $6705.49 (after discounts), Trans. #77926047, store ID 1136.

    1. Simple solution: Cancel order and call the cabinet manufactor directly. It’s amazing how companies like Lowe’s think you owe them the business and they allowed to treat you anyway they want. Cancel the order and get a refund.

  191. I ordered and paid on 3.31.2017 131 House Numbers for our condo association. The pick up day supposed to be on 4.14.2017. I called 4.14.2017 Lowe’s on 1001 West Oakland Park Blvd.Oakland Park, FL 33311, and they told me the order is not in. Yesterday, 4.16,2017 I visited the store and the order was not in. Today I tried to call Lowe’s 3 time and got disconnected 3 times. I called a fourth time to ask for the store manager, he did not answer the phone.The customer service here at the Oakland Park store is extremely bad. When I ordered all these numbers it took me over 15 minutes to get assistance in that particular department. If I don’t get an answer in the next 12 Hours regarding these fully payi order, I will cancel everything, want our money back and the association will for the future not consider shopping at Lowe’s anymore.

  192. On President’s Day Weekend I ordered a LG Gas Range. I was told it was back-ordered and would not be delivered until March 28. That was fine with me. On March 27, I received a call that the range did not come in from LG yet. A new date was set. The range still did not come in from LG. A manager (Kelly) and sales associate from the appliance department (John), from the Lowes on Roosevelt Blvd. in PHiladelphia, called LG four times and each time LG promised to have the range delivered to the Lowes warehouse. With Passover fast approaching and no oven to cook with, I was in a bind. They offered me the floor model and a discount which I accepted. Kelly and John also offered to have it delivered the next day. I really appreciate all their help. I hope Lowes management sees my comment.

    1. Well Hildy pepper, im a truck driver here little i just delivered a load to wyoming distribution center i was suppose to leave my loaded trailer there and pick up empty ones. We have 5 loaded trailers here, all loaded not touching yet and no empties so we’re losing money. Tt’s like a storage on wheels for these jerks, it easy for them to blame on LG. You’re getting 1 way information, it could be on a trailer in their distribution center, they just didn’t get to it. I’m thinking having magnetic signs made. Lowe’s terrible, especially customer service. Next time why not call direct to LG or whatever brand and see what they can do for you. Unfortunately companies today think they can treat you anyway they wish you owe them the business.

  193. Customer service is the worst service i have ever had to deal with. home depot will get all my business in the future.i bought a dryer from lowes in 2013 with a 3 year Extended warranty. I asked the salesman if that means we get 4 years he said yes. 1 year factory and 3 extended. Ok good deal.so i buy it. Now dryer on the brink. Call lowes and i am informed that it is expired. I am told it runs concurrent with factory warranty. So what they are selling you is a 2 year extended warranty and calling it 3. False advertising and customer deception. Then cannot call corporate to make complaint. Just keep getting sent to service who told me the warranty is expired. I really would like to hear from lowes on this.

  194. Absolutely unacceptable customer service !!! Don’t buy anything online and expect Lowe’s to deliver it when arranged. Two days of waiting for a dishwasher and when we called, the idiot manager tried to say it was our fault !! Go to Home Depot or somewhere else. These guys are unreliable !!!!!

  195. I bought a riding lawn mower was very excited,the day before lowes called me with a restricted phone number, I usually don’t answer restricted calls. They were letting me know they would delivery the next day. The 2 guys brought lawn mower and had to push it. The guy says it ran out of gas. So I had to have son to come and push it the rest of the way to put in garage. I think this is very poor business, I spend 1500 dollars and you can’t put a dollar gas in ,so I can at least make it to the garage to put it up. I think I will return it, maybe go to home depot and get treated better.

  196. We purchased March 6.2017 carpet, tiles and hardwood flooring for our new house and your Employee Jeannie Johnson was excellent help with good knowledge and best Customer Service. I would recommend her highly.She always returned all our phone calls and stayed in touch.

  198. I bought a new sink, Kindred, and faucet, Moen, at store 2721. I was told I needed to get a detailed measurement before the sink could be installed. The cost was $40.00. I paid the installation fee: sales #S2721KM2, Transaction #13071323 on 02-02-17.
    When I went to the store to get a copy of the estimate, I was denied and told the estimate copy was the property of Lowes. In light of this, I would like my money returned.

  199. I ordered and paid for a washer and dryer on Feb. 11, 2017 in the Spring, TX store. They told me they would be able to deliver the appliances on Feb. 12, 2017, I received an automated phone call stating they were going to deliver my appliances on Feb. 12. I waited all day and no appliances nor did anyone call to let me know they were not going to be delivered. I called the number for the delivery and they set up a delivery of Feb. 19, 2017. I received 2 phone calls stating the set delivery times are between 11:30am – 1:30pm and 3:30pm – 5:30pm on Feb. 19. I did not receive any delivery, at 5:26pm I called the number for delivery and I was told my order was not on the schedule for that day and it was on hold. I lost work time waiting for the delivery. I called the manager at the Spring, TX store and she told me apparently the washer and dryer was not in stock at the original store they were to ship from, so they sent the order to other stores to be filled. I do not know how the stores are run, but this is the worst customer service I have had to deal with.The manager said she would call me shortly after she arrived at work on Feb. 20 to discuss a discount and a new delivery date. I tried calling her twice and she is not available. I just keep getting the run around. I have never had this many problems with appliance delivery. If the washer and dryer were not in stock, I should have been notified, but since I was not notified I am still waiting on a washer and dryer. In my opinion, I think I should get an upgraded version of a washer and dryer for the same price I paid for the original ones.

  200. I bought all new appliances in September and my ice maker stopped working in December and I have been trying to get it working again ever since. One time a repairman came and I have been waiting ever since. This contractor keeps telling me they will be here every Tuesday but today is the 16th of Feb. and still no working ice maker. Tomorrow I will be calling my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau. I also will be going to Lowe’s In Pine Bluff Arkansas where I purchased this appliance and demand my money back. Never again will I step inside this store again. Oh and I was going to purchase a riding mower,storage building,fencing,and many more items. Your loss Lowe’s
