Please share your experiences with, and complaints about, MyFedLoan.org, in the comment section.
I waited on hold for 67 minutes and no one answered just had a recorded message that my hold time was 20minutes are greater. Ridiculous!
I requested a change of payment date via the internet on your website that was not processed timely. I called in and spoke with a representative subsequently who said he was taking care of the date change for the month of June 2017. The representative did not handle the request as stated because I got a correspondence last week stating the June payment was due 6-11-17. I followed up with a message on the online site requesting a 6 mth forbearance. After doing so I finally located a form but it could not be filled out and processed online. Now looking for a fax number. Not satisfied with customer support.
These people are a joke! I wish I could go and talk to a person. I’m so upset right now! We need transparency! ARGHHHHHHHH!!! Not 5 star! 0 stars!
I called them more than a month ago about a loan that is not mine. Years ago I had my identity compromised whereas someone was bold enough to even file taxes in my name!!! This company was supposed to mail me out a fraud kit so that I can take steps to get this taken care of and nothing. Not a peep, no email phone call and definitely not a kit to help me with this. I will do whatever it takes as I WILL NOT pay for a loan that is not mine! Negative zero stars!
There is no way anyone who rated FedLoan Servicing “5 Stars” is a real customer, who has ever had any interaction with this embarrassment of a company. Thoroughly inept, borderline negligent, in its administration of the student loan program, and specifically the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. These people should be ashamed. They should all actually be unemployed, but that’s wishful thinking.
I’m looking to pay my $5.00 hardship fee to get my forbearance underway and get my 120 payments scheduled under the loan forgiveness program right away. I have forgotten my username and password to access MyFedloan.org account.
